Eastwood - Passive Fire Compliance Rectification

Delivered passive fire rectification to a large strata complex, addressing fire separation and compartmentation defects. Works included upgrading fire collars, sealants and penetrations across all areas to meet required FRLs in line with Australian Standards.

Project Highlights

Extensive passive fire rectification works were undertaken at these large residential strata complex in Eastwood comprising multiple sole-occupancy units, common areas and fire-isolated stairs.

The project formed part of a broader compliance upgrade to address fire separation and compartmentation defects identified throughout the building.

The scope involved inspection, removal and reinstatement of non-compliant fire-rated systems, including fire collars, fire sealants and service penetrations across both common and residential areas. All penetrations were upgraded to maintain required FRLs in accordance with AS1530.4 and AS4072.1. Works were carefully coordinated to manage access within occupied apartments and shared spaces, with strict quality control measures implemented to ensure certification compliance.

The project was delivered under a fixed-price contract structure, with staged progress milestones and full documentation provided to support statutory compliance and ongoing essential fire safety requirements.
