Chippendale - Mixed-Use Fire Compliance Upgrade

Delivered fire and life safety upgrades to a 107-unit mixed-use building under a Council Fire Order. Works included fire separation improvements, door certification, signage and penetration rectification, all completed in a fully operational building with minimal disruption.

Comprehensive fire and life safety upgrades were delivered to this large mixed-use development in Chippendale comprising 107 residential units, ground floor retail and basement carparking.

The building was subject to a Council Fire Order requiring building compliance works across all levels.

Our scope included installation of new plasterboard ceilings to common areas to accommodate services and improve fire separation performance, construction of non-combustible enclosures to electrical cupboards, fire door certification and signage upgrades, exit hardware rectification, stair nosing installation, and rectification of non-compliant service penetrations through fire-rated elements. The building remained fully operational throughout the upgrade
