Bondi - Balcony Waterproofing Remediation

Remedial waterproofing works were completed addressing ongoing water ingress issues affecting a residential strata building.

The scope focused on the full re-waterproofing of balconies in accordance with the consultant’s specification and regulated waterproof design documentation. Existing finishes were carefully removed to expose the structural substrate, allowing for detailed inspection and rectification of underlying defects. Substrates were mechanically prepared, repaired where required and regraded to ensure compliant falls toward drainage points.

A new compliant waterproofing system was installed. Following membrane installation, flood testing and quality assurance checks were undertaken prior to reinstatement of finishes. The completed works restored the balcony’s weatherproof performance while extending the durability of the building envelope within an occupied strata environment.
