Project Highlights

We were engaged to deliver a large-scale fire and life safety upgrade to an 11-storey, 80+ unit residential and mixed-use strata building in Auburn following a Council development control order.

Our scope included the upgrade and replacement of residential unit entry fire doors and common area fire doors to achieve compliant FRL ratings. All works were carefully staged within an occupied high-rise building to minimise disruption while maintaining strict compliance standards.

In addition, we constructed new Speed Panel dividing walls within the scissor stair cores to create compliant separated fire-isolated stair shafts achieving the required 90/90/90 FRL.

Extensive fire stair rectification works were also undertaken, including correction of non-compliant risers and goings, landing gradient adjustments, and installation of compliant non-slip, luminance-contrasting stair nosings throughout the building

The project was completed with full certification and essential fire safety documentation provided to the Owners Corporation.
