Artarmon - Fire Safety Upgrade and Compliance Works

We were engaged to deliver a comprehensive fire and life safety upgrade to 39-unit residential strata building following the issue of a Council Fire Order.

The project involved the replacement of all 39-unit entry doors with new fire-rated doors, including full certification. We also upgraded common area exit hardware, repaired and refinished existing frames, and ensured all installations met current BCA and AS1905.1 requirements. Works were completed in a fully occupied building, requiring detailed coordination and minimal disruption to residents.

In the basement carpark, we constructed a new reinforced blockwork firewall to address compliance requirements, including service relocations, fire-stopping of penetrations and installation of a compliant fire-rated shutter and door assembly. The project was delivered with full documentation, certification and essential fire safety compliance for the Owners Corporation.
